BOAT BUILDINGS DEMOLISHED

Spectacular harbor views abound from Washington and Union streets now that all of the boatyard buildings once used by Grey Lady Marine were demolished and their construction debris transported to

a landfill in Bourne Oct. 19-24. However, what will rise from the rubble of the former boatyard remains to be seen. Great Harbor need

only secure a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit, a Chapter 91 Waterways permit from the Department of Environmental Protection and work out some issues with the Conservation Commission to

build its yacht club. Construction of all landside buildings,

infrastructure and landscaping is currently in motion.
