Alice Keane O'Banion was born at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on April 21, 2006 weighing 8 pounds and 11 ounces. She is the daughter of Mark and Laura O'Banion of Nantucket. Her grandparents are Richard and Janis Dorgan of Albany, N.Y., Marty O'Banion of Yarmouthport, Mass., and Linda O'Banion of White River Junction, Vt. Her great-grandmother is Jane Keane of Orchard Park, N.Y. Lily Joanna Rudkowski was born at Nantucket Cottage Hospital on April 19, 2006 weighing 6 pounds and 15 ounces. She is the daughter of Joanna and Kamil Rudkowski and sister of Filip Rudkowski of Nantucket. Her grandparents are Alicja and Waldemar Rudkowski of Poland, and Jolanta Krakowska of Germany. Her great-grandparents are Aniela and Zenon Madrzyk and Daniela Rudkowska of Poland. WEDDINGS Rev. Sam Thayer Wilde and Dr. Neil St. John Forbes were married March 12 at the Greenstreet Methodist Church in Tenyham, England. Sam is the daughter of Nancy Thayer Walters and the stepdaughter of Charley Walters of Nantucket. Neil is the son of St. John and Jan Forbes of Chester, New York. Sam was given away by her brother, Joshua Thayer. Neil was given away by his sister, Rosalind Hafen. The couple vacationed in London and Cornwall. The bride attended Smith College, Yale Divinity School, The New Seminary and Kripalu. The groom attended Case Western Reserve and The University of California at Berkeley and did his post-doctoral work at Harvard. The bride is a minister and yoga teacher. The groom is an assistant professor of Chemical Engineering at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. They live in Belchertown, Mass. There will be an American wedding in September in the Berkshires. I |
